| If you are over 17 years old, you can learn to ride a 125cc machine in order to pass your motorcycle test. This will give you a category A2 licence and restrict you to 33 bhp for 2 years. After the two year period, the restriction is automatically lifted and you will be able to ride a motorcycle of any size.
Once you have completed your CBT with us, as part of the assessment, you will have been told what individual training programme you require to reach test standard. We offer flexible tuition to meet your timetable, requirements and needs spread over a period of time. You do not have to do an intensive training course in one week, which can be extremely demanding and difficult. Typically, your motorcycle training will consist of off-road motorcycle manoeuvres, covering step by step guidance on all aspects of the Module One test criteria and on-road riding for the preparation of taking your Module Two test. This motorcycle training is designed to enhance ability, build confidence and awareness. All of the training you receive touches on advanced riding techniques to make you a better and safer rider. |
During your 125cc on-road test training we will negotiate as many different riding scenarios as possible to ensure you are test ready. These may include dealing with other traffic, town centre riding, dual carriageways and country lanes. You can choose to undertake your motorcycle training in either of our branches in Redditch or Birmingham.
When you choose to do your on-road motorcycle training with us you can join our exclusive RMT Riders Club. This will give you access to our members only forum where you can get detailed information on passing your motorcycle tests, including video footage of how to pass the Module One test. Also available is information and tips on how to pass the Module Two test and riding techniques for Post Test Training and group riding. |
